The House of People’s Representatives adopted, on Wednesday, in plenary session, the draft decision relating to exceptional measures for the continuity of work in parliament, by 118 votes in favour.
According to a press release issued at the end of the meeting of the presidents of the parliamentary groups held this morning in parliament under the chairmanship house speaker Rached Ghannouchi, the parliament stressed the need to guarantee the continuity of parliamentary work in this delicate health context due to the spread of coronavirus.The plenary meeting was adjourned and will have to resume at 2 p.m. to continue the discussions on the items on the agenda:
- Draft organic law amending and supplementing organic law n ° 2015-50, date back to December 3, 2015, relating to the Constitutional Court,
- Bill to publish the code for collective investment undertakings,
- Bill relating to the attacks against the armed forces.
