The House of the People’s Representatives expressed its deep concern today over the worsening humanitarian crisis faced by the Palestinian people in Gaza, which has resulted in thousands of casualties and injuries.
In a statement, the Parliament strongly condemned the brutality committed by the Zionist entity against civilians and criticized the international community’s silence in the face of these atrocities.
“The Parliament condemns in the strongest terms the savagery inflicted on civilians and the silence of the international community regarding these barbaric acts against Palestinians,” the statement read.
It called on national parliaments, unions, and regional and international councils to intensify their efforts to end the crimes being perpetrated against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
Reaffirming Tunisia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, the Assembly stressed the urgent need for an immediate and definitive end to the attacks by the occupying forces.
