The assessor of the President of the House of People’s Representatives, in charge of communication, Maher Medhioub, indicated, via his Facebook account, that the parliament has not got the slightest official request for the lifting of parliamentary immunity from MPs.
The update comes after President Kais Saïed said Wednesday, May 26, that the parliament had failed to consider 25 requests for the waiver of parliamentary immunity.
