The Permanent Mission of Tunisia to Geneva took part in the 88th session of the Inland Transport Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, held from February 17 to 20, 2026, in Geneva.
Organized under the framework of the United Nations, the session reviewed strategies for advancing the road transport sector and strengthening coordinated international responses to emerging challenges related to safety, sustainability, and supply chains.
Participants also explored the role of innovation and digital transformation in modernizing transport systems, enhancing network efficiency, improving road safety, and reducing emissions in support of sustainable mobility.
