The Free Destourin Party issued on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, a press release declaring that it had forwarded a letter to President Kais Saïed calling on him to ensure the security of MPs in the House of Peoples’ Representatives and to forbid anyone, who risks violating the deputies, from entering the parliament headquarters.
In the same context,the party announced that it will be staging a sit-in on Saturday, July 4, 2020, in front of the Municipal Theatre.
