The family members of a patient who passed away in a road accident, originally from the region of Bouhajla (governorate of Kairouan) raided the emergency services of the operating room of the Aghlabids hospital and destroyed all the equipment of the service,Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent reported.
They violently assailed the doctors and paramedics operating in the service in question. The family of the deceased blamed their son’s death on medical personnel. They likewise accused them of negligence. The deceased was denied the services of a resuscitator and could not undergo urgent surgery.
Remember that the hospitals in the region have been deprived of the services of resuscitators for a long time since the two resuscitators have fallen sick at the same time.
