Over two million pilgrims reached Mount Arafat on Saturday after spending a night of meditation in Mina.The pilgrims began arriving at Mount Arafat using the Masher train and buses. Some opted to traverse the distance of nine km on foot.The grand stand on Arafat will typically last until sunset after which the pilgrims will advance stealthily to Muzdalifah .pilgrimsw will stay there go back to Mina for the stoning of the Jamrat Al-Aqaba , slaughter the sacrificial animals, shave off and change into plain clothes.
