PM-designate Hichem Mechichi kicked off consultations to form the new government by meeting Presidents of National organizations including Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Noureddine Taboubi, Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts President Samir Majoul and President of the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries Abdelmajid Ezzar at Dar Dhiafa .
Mechichi opted to start the consultation by meeting the above-mentioned parties and far away from the spotlight. Previous government consultations have begun by meeting presidents of political parties according to their parliamentary representations while ensuring media coverage of the meetings.
