Tunisia- PM Elyes Fakhfakh announces his official government line up

Prime minister-designate  Elyes Fakhfakh officially announced his government composition from Carthage presidential palace.

He said his cabinet represents a broad political spectrum and is based on a contract document that aims to ensure the country’s stability and restore confidence and hope to citizens.

Government formation includes the following names :

  • Home Minister: Hichem Mechichi (independent)
  • Minister of Foreign Affairs: Noureddine Erray (independent)
  • Defense Minister: Imed Hazgui (independent)
  • Minister of Finance: Nizar Yaïch (independent)
  • Minister of State Property and Land Affairs: Ghazi Chaouachi (Tayar)
  • Minister of Investment and International Cooperation: Slim Azzabi (Tahya Tounes)
  • Ministry of Major Reforms: Lobna Jeribi (Independent)
  • Minister of Vocational Training and Employment: Fathi Belhaj (Echaab)
