Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi has presided over the scientific committee to combat the coronavirus.
During the meeting, the PM called to deploy a more effective communication policy regarding the health situation in the nation, by giving accurate information on the spread of the coronavirus.
He emphasised the necessity to harmonise the scientific and communication speech and to update it before presenting it to the public.
The PM also stressed the need to increase coordination between the different parties concerned regarding the measures taken and the data provided.
He underscored the need to review the current pandemic situation and to specify the strategy to be adopted while considering for the economic and social conditions.
