Prime minister Hichem Mechichi, extended his gratitude to the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, for intervening to delay the execution of Tunisian national Fakhri Landolsi who is sentenced to death in Qatar.
In a phone call, he had on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, the PM praised Kaïs Saïed’s continued efforts to shield the interests of Tunisians, both inside and outside. the country and his will to defend the principle of the sacred right to life.
