Tunisia-President Kais Saied calls on PM Bouden to intervene in the environmental crisis in Sfax

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, confirmed during his meeting with prime minister Najla Bouden, this Friday in Carthage palace , that politics is not a night job.
Mr Saïed thanked Boudem by saying: “history will remember the job that we are doing in this exceptional circumstance that Tunisia is undergoing (…) We will continue to work with the same will, the same confidence and in all rigour”. In addition, the Head of State referred to the environmental situation in Sfax indicating that what is occurring is a crime, in reference to the piling up of garbage for about 25 days and the cutting of electricity and water.
“Those who say that they represent the people, or at least part of it so that I do not offend anyone, utilise all means to turn the lives of citizens into hell,” he said, “The aim is to compromise the health of the citizens and to abuse the Tunisian people “.
“The inhabitants of Sfax will rid their city of the sewage rats that generated this crisis.” he asserted.
