President Kais Siaed received Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Noureddine Taboubi and prime minister Elyes Fakhfakh at Carthage presidential palace.
During the meeting, the head of the state affirmed that No consultations have been held with parties regarding the change of government, describing what was circulated as fallacious and slanderous. No consultations will happen with anyone as long as the prime minister has full Juridictions, he added.
If the prime minister steps down or motion of censure was directed,then the president of the republic can start consultations but without that, there is no consultation at all,” the president added.
