Tunisia-President Kais Saied meets a delegation from civil society in Gafsa

President Kais Saied received a delegation from civil society in Gafsa at Carthage presidential palace.

The meeting shed light on protests observed in Gafsa, phosphate production and the need to repair the railway.

Saied stressed the need to adopt a  national approach to find a solution for these urgent affairs.

He estimated the necessity to further strengthen legislations, hold various parties accountable and employ the valuable experience of the youth and retired experts who are willing to utilise their expertise in assisting the general interest of the country.

On her part, Zakia Latrach, representative of the delegation stated the meeting presented an occasion to address numerous social and economic concerns and recognise the solutions to them.
