President Kaïs Saïed met with caretaker Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh at the Carthage Palace. The meeting discussed the development of government work and the general circumstances in the country, particularly security and social matters.
The head of the state urged to gove more importance to the social conditions of the vulnerable groups and further commitment to respond to citizens’ expectations and legitimate demands.
The President of the Republic reiterated that the legal means stipulated in the Constitution provide him with solutions that guarantee the continuity of the state, adding that he will not fail to resort to it to preserve the state and its institutions.
