President Kais Saied received Interior minister Taoufik Charfeddine at Carthage presidential palace on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the general situation in the nation and the security repercussions of the social situation in some regions were considered.
The Head of State restated the need to secure the rule of law in all areas, affirming the principle of “one State”.
During the meeting, the Head of State evoked that the state institutions work coherently and in full complementarity.
“There is no way to undermine the prestige of the State, whatever the reasons,” the President of the Republic said.
