The president of the Republic, Kais Saied, received this Friday, August 7, the governor of the Central Bank, Marouane Abassi, who gave him the report for the year 2019.
The specificities of the current economic situation and internal and external financial balances, as well as monetary policies, were discussed, according to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.
The meeting also focused on the situation of the banking sector in general and financial cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in particular, according to the same press release.
