President Kaïs Saïed held a phone convsrtaion with President of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), Louise Mushikiwabo.
The conversation addressed diverse issues, including in particular the delay of the 20th Summit of La Francophonie which was to take place at the end of December in Tunisia.
The president of the republic proposed that the next summit be held on the island of Djerba.
For her part, Louise Mushikiwabo welcomed this recommendation and pledged to back it.
In this regard, she indicated that a video conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the OIF member countries will be held.
