The President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed received this Tuesday, December 28, 2021, prime minister Najla Bouden, at Carthage Palace to discuss the general situation in the country, government action, in addition to the points that will be examined during the following council of ministers.
After congratulating the head of government and all her team for the efforts made for the development of the 2022 finance bill, the President of the Republic stated that he had ratified the finance law although he was not convinced of certain options which do not make it feasible to meet the demands of the people in matters of tax fairness.
He clarified, in this sense, that these choices result from an accumulation of decades. On the other hand, the Head of State said he was stunned by the allegations of some “who claim to be victims of torture and violence”, highlighting that history has made it possible to remove the masks of people driven by interests. and not by principles. He added that the next dialogue will be that of the sincere and constant.
