Tunisia-Primary school students’ exams delayed

A basic education union official confirmed this Sunday to Tunisie Numerique, that it was decided to delay the exams of the first quarter, for primary school classes on a date that will be communicated tomorrow Monday, in a press release from the Ministry of Education.

He explained that it was the union that presented the initiative to postpone these exams for two reasons:

First is to give teachers and students to make up for a lost time during the strike that lasted two months

And secondly, to consecrate the right to equal chances between private lessons and those who were able to follow theirs.

He added that the ministry accepted this proposal and that it will publish, by tomorrow, a press release to “announce and to specify the new date of the exams.
