Tunisia-Private sector debts towards CNSS amount to 5 billion dinars!

The CNSS director general addressed Monday, November 14, 2022, the financial situation of the fund.

Intervening in media statements, he clarified that debts in the private sector with the cash register are assessed at five billion dinars.

In this sense, he called on the diverse private companies to settle their social security contributions and to from the cancellation of penalties on the accused delays.

The difficult financial situation of social funds is a not secret for anyone. As such, the deputy secretary general of the Tunisian Labor Union (UGTT), responsible for social security, health, and safety at work, had wanted to recall it in support.

Abdelkarim Djerad, notably warned, about the financial situation of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), the latter having registered a deficit of 1,200 million dinars in the year 2020, according to the figures that He put forward to the TAP agency.
