Public sector engineers are now observing “day of rage” in the Kasbah.
Dean of Tunisian engineers Kamel Sahnoun said this move comes to demand the implementation of the deal approved with the government to benefit from certain bonuses.
The Tunisian Order of Engineers published a statement asking all engineers to join the demonstration.
Engineers further plan to call a 5-day strike from Monday, March 29 until Friday, April 2, 2021, if government authorities do not react to their demands.
