Speaking after the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) rejected in a plenary session, the motion of no confidence against him, House speaker Rached Ghannouchi affirmed that today Tunisia necessitates having a sole agenda that everyone can work on from the head of state to the parliament, and the government.
“We are keen to collaborate with the President of the Republic, the symbol of the unity of the state” added Ghannouchi.
He further announced support for prime minister-designate Hichem Mechici as he wants him to succeed.
