At the commencement of the session, Al-Fatihah was recited to pay tribute to MP Nizar Makhloufi, who died on July 08, 2021.
The bureau later examined the agenda for the council’s work program for the following days and it was decided to hold a plenary session on July 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2021, to consider the following bills:
– A bill approving the electricity production concession deal and the site occupancy agreement and their annexes for the “Sakdoud photovoltaic plant” No. 31-2021
– A bill approving the electricity production concession agreement and the site occupancy agreement and their annexes for the “Borj Bourguiba photovoltaic plant”. Number 32-2021
– A bill approving the electricity production concession agreement and the site occupancy agreement and their annexes for the Mezzouna Photovoltaic Power Plant. Number 33-2021
– A bill linking to the approval of the electricity production concession agreement and the site occupancy agreement and their annexes for the Tozeur photovoltaic power plant. Number 34-2021
– A bill on the approval of the electricity production concession agreement and the site occupation contract and their annexes for the “El Motbassta Photovoltaic Power Plant”. Number 35-2021
The Cabinet additionally considered the vacancy of a parliamentary seat in the Kairouan constituency following the passing of MP Nizar Makhloufi, and it was decided to take the required measures to fill this vacancy.
On the other hand, the office decided to initiate the procedural guide for measures to secure the continuity of the work of the Parliament due to the spread of the Coronavirus.
