House speaker Rached Ghannouchi transmitted a message to President of the republic Kais Saied, “guarantor of national unity,” suggesting the holding of a meeting “as soon as possible” to obtain a resolution to the political crisis in the nation. Ghannouchi proposes a meeting between the Head of State, the Prime Minister and the House Speaker.
Ghannouchi emphasised in his letter, the necessity to send “positive messages to the Tunisian people and the entire world,” consequently proving that “Tunisia is a State of Law and institutions notwithstanding the differences and the building discourses of division.”
