Ennahdha movement has announced that the UK’s High Court ruled in favour of House speaker Rached Ghannouchi in connection with his complaint against the media Middle East Online after they claimed his political party supported terrorism, the law firm representing his case said.
The Islamic party said the site was owned by one of the partners of the Al Arab newspaper, against which Ghannouchi had won a defamation lawsuit in the past.
They also emphasised that Ghannouchi will file new complaints against all those who contribute to spreading lies.
