Tunisia-Ramadan 2021: Tahya Tounes condemns failure to apply health measures against COVID-19

Tahya Tounes executive office held this evening, April 08, 2021, a meeting under the direction of the party head, regarding the general situation of the country and political developments.
At the conclusion of its work, the executive board expressed concern at the interruption of the wave of solidarity in the light of the tightening of health measures as Ramadan is nearing and requests the government to give solutions to enable civil society and all Tunisians to launch solidarity campaigns for the profit of vulnerable and needy families as well as those touched by the curfew measures.

It likewise communicated its concern about the lack of rigour in the implementation of the decisions of the National Authority for the Fight against the Coronavirus and the absence of economic measures to preserve and support the institutions and sectors most impacted.

The same source stressed the necessity to speed up the development of an urgent national plan to save public finances and protect jobs and the economic fabric. Moreover, it affirmed its condemnation of the moral decay that has penetrated the political scene, and the increasing attempts at defamation, demonization and damage to the reputation of people through social networks, revealing on this occasion its unconditional support to all those who have been victims of insults or oppression.

The movement said finally that will file a complaint against all those who intentionally demonize and slander the movement, its leaders and its representatives.
