Tunisian rapper Klay BBJ was arrested following a lawsuit filed by Beya Zardi. Zardi indicted Klay BBJ of slander, provoking incitement to violence and rape.Baya Zardi is not the only plaintiff in this case. Two other women filed complaints against Klay BBJ .
Klay BBJ’s lawyer Wahid Laaiouni stated that his client dismissed during his inquiry that his song was meant for Baya Zadri or other women. He affirmed that he is not accountable for the distortion of his songs. If he desired to address someone he would do it directly, he continued.
Laaiouni said that Zardi attacked his client first adding that he wasn’t given a chance to reply nor defend himself.
