Two Qatari military planes transporting medical equipment landed this Friday, July 9, 2021, at Tunis-Carthage airport.
The equipment is composed of a field hospital with a capacity of 200 beds and equipped with all medical equipment, in addition to 100 ventilators.
This medical aid intends to consolidate the close bonds and cooperative relationships between the two nations. The reception of this field hospital is part of Qatar’s aid to Tunisia in its battle against the Covid-19 pandemic.
This donation from Qatar is the second after a hospital was sent to Kebili in May 2020.
