The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, issued a presidential decree on Thursday, July 29, 2021, appointing Ridha Gharsallaoui as Minister of the Interior.
The head of the Ministry of the Interior was sworn in before the President of the Republic in accordance with article 89 of the Constitution.
