A tragic road accident happened yesterday evening on National Road No. 5 (the new Dougga road) in the Teboursouk delegation, within the governorate of Beja. The accident implicated a collision between a heavy goods vehicle and a light truck, resulting in the deaths of two women, both around 60 years old.
Three other passengers sustained severe injuries and were taken to a local hospital, where doctors later confirmed the deaths of a 34-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman.
The victims were family members of former African Club player Nabil El-Missaoui. The deceased include his cousin, two sisters, mother, and aunt.
The damaged vehicles have since been removed from the roadway.
