Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Safi Said strongly criticized what he regarded as “kids” hired to defend President Kais Saied on television.

He estimated that the President of the Republic is a public figure who can be criticized by all citizens without the one who criticizes him being insulted or humiliated.

Even the former President of the Republic Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali did not employ this sort of manoeuvre to defend his legitimacy, he stated.
