President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed on August 31, 2022, Minister of the Interior, Taoufik Charfeddine at Carthage palace to examine a certain number of questions related to the security situation in the country.
The head of the state called on the Minister of the Interior to make more efforts during this period, to battle monopoly and control the distribution circuits in coordination with the Ministry of Trade and Development of Exports as well as other parties involved.
