Tunisia-Samir Dilou calls Abir Moussi’s actions “criminal”

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Ennahdha MP Samir Dilou addressed the tensions that spiked between PDL MPs and the Al Karama Coalition.
“In the era of democracy, all kinds of peaceful protest including sit-ins are secured by law. But, the Constitution which enables protests likewise defends the existence of associations recognized by law “. Dilou said.
Dilou also cautioned against the selective handling of court cases, relating to the PDL sit-in outside the headquarters of the Union of Muslim scholars.

Reflecting on the intervention of Al Karama Coalition MPs in evacuating the PDL sit-in, Dilou called what Abir Moussi did a criminal act. “On the political level, Abir Moussi moved from putting forward a political position to legitimizing violence” he announced, referring to the closure by force of the headquarters of a “legal” association. ”.
