The Science City in Tunis (CST) revealed that it is organizing the first Autumn University entitled ‘Assembly and launch of cubic satellites’ in the field of astronomy and space devoted, exclusively, to students- engineers eager about the space sector, a sector whose major issues lie at different levels, notably scientific, technical, economic and ethical, therefore offering the opportunity to utilise design tools leading to the creation of a nanosatellite with a view to applying them to mission analysis and operations linking to this type of satellite.
According to the CST, this fall university permits students to acquire knowledge of the design of cubic satellites, their technical characteristics as well as their scientific missions via a theoretical study of satellites, practical work, a launch of the CubeSat, a round table and discussion.
This first edition will take place in 8 days over 4 consecutive weekends starting October 21, 2023, at the Science City in Tunis. The registration fee is 100 dinars per participant.
