During a joint operation with counterterrorism services, National Guard units from Kef, Monastir, Sousse, Sfax, and Bizerte apprehended seven Takfiri elements.
They were wanted under warrants issued by various security units and judicial authorities for alleged membership in a terrorist organization, and were sentenced to prison terms ranging from two to three years.
The required legal measures were taken against them after consultation with the public prosecutor.
