A Massive Fire broke out in a plastic factory in the industrial zone in Gremda road,10 kilometres from the centre of Sfax City
Civil protections battled the flames for three hours only to begin Process Cooling.No human loss was recorded, however, the factory suffered major material losses.
On its part, the Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas “STEG” cut off electricity in case flames reach the wires. Authorities opened an inquiry into the incident.
