Spokesperson for the court of first instance of Sfax 1, disclosed that the prosecution, and following the announcement by the Italian press agencies, of the death of 41 migrants in the sinking of their boat off Lampedusa, decided to open a judicial inquiry to determine the responsibilities in this tragedy, given that the migration operation had begun from Sfax, and organized by smugglers from the region.
