As part of the battle against monopoly, speculation, fraud and parallel trade, the units of the regional division of the municipal police of Sfax (Gremda, Sfax Medina, Sakiet Ezzit, Chihia, Sakiet Eddayer) in coordination with the Regional Directorate of Commerce of Sfax seized 17 tons of food products.
11,500 kg of food products seized is unsuited for consumption and of unidentified origin, stored clandestinely in a house. In addition, a quantity of 500 kg of seized subsidized sugar was stored inside the headquarters of one of the companies specializing in office supplies, as well as the seizure of 05 tons of subsidized flour, kept in a home warehouse.
