Tunisia-Shems fm journalists dismissed:Al Karama Holding denies

Al Karama Holding has categorically refuted the dismissal of a journalist from Shems Fm radio, revealing that some contracts have expired and that those involved have received their full rights. The company further explained that the station’s human resources have been strengthened by the contract recruitment of new reporters.

It reserves the right to take legal action against fake allegations included in the statements of the unions, the same source reads. On another aspect, Al Karama Holding reemphasises its call to the Independent High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) to face, within the framework of the law, all those who dare to utilise the radio stands to address accusations without any ground.

Concerning the radio’s divestiture, the company said the deal will be finalized in the following days after obtaining approval from the national broadcasting office in early November.

Since the signing of the transfer contract, the company has begun a process of negotiation and coordination with all creditors including the National Social Security Fund, the general directorate of public accounting and collection and the transmission office to find an agreement on the repayment and staggering of debts.
