The regional director of trade and export development in Sousse, Fawzi Taleb, confirmed that the Sousse commercial port recently received a ship loaded with a cargo of 3,000 tons of imported potatoes, which will be injected in the coming days to the most important wholesale vegetable markets in the country.

He told TAP, today Friday, that the competent authorities are currently continuing to carry out the required control and analysis operations of the cargo of imported potatoes before injecting it into the wholesale markets and allocating shares to the different regions of the Republic.

This measure comes, according to the same source, to cover the fluctuations occurring in the potato supply process.
