The floating units of the maritime guard recovered five bodies on Monday and saved 23 other migrants whose boat had capsized earlier this morning off Sfax.
The boat was carrying a number of migrants including women and children, mostly Tunisians.
A security source confirmed that there are still seven people who remain missing after this sinking.
