The health unit of Menzel Bouzaine (Governorate of Sidi Bouzid) declared on Friday that 4 cases of infection by hepatitis A were registered in the village “Al -Atizaz”.
A screening campaign has been launched by the health services in order to identify the causes of this infection and to identify other cases in the village, according to a statement released by the management.
According to the same source, the constant interruption of drinking water in the locality leading to the consumption of uncontrolled water by the residents is among the likely causes of this infection.
