On the sidelines of a study day organized today on the draft of the new Constitution, professor of public law Slim Laghmani reported that the texts published last Thursday in the JORT set a presidential regime.
According to him, this regime is preparing a favourable ground for the execution of the project of democratic construction by the base of the President of the Republic Kais Saïed. “It is not likely to dismiss the Head of State and control him,” he declared, stressing the full powers enjoyed by Saïed.
