The National Union of Tunisian Journalists and other associations and NGOs condemned the personal defamation of some reporters through web pages.
Professional journalists like Haithem Mekki, Zied Krichen, Elyes El Gharbi, Mohamed Yousfi, Naziha Rejiba, Mohamed Yassine Jlassi have been attacked and threatened for expressing their views. Media and civil society activists have additionally been insulted for the same reason.
