PDL condemned the weakening of purchasing power, the surge in prices and the shortage of basic foodstuffs in the country while pointing to the silence of the authorities in the face of burning socio-economic files.
The party rejected the concentration of powers in the hands of the head of the state Kais Saïed underlining the absence of a clear strategic vision capable of solving the problems encountered by the country.
The PDL, consequently, announced the organization of a protest movement on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in the city centre of Tunis to denounce the impoverishment of the people.
