Tunisian Association of Children’s Villages (SOS) has launched a campaign seeking to increase the number of permanent automatic transfers for its benefit, which result in a monthly direct debit on the current account, whether for individuals or establishments, from 1,200 transfers currently to 10,000 transfers by the end of May 2025.
The association stated, in a press release, that it aims, through this campaign, to reach the stability of its financial resources so that it “positively reflects the quality of the services provided to its pre-child tutors and improves the chances of their successful integration in society. ” The association is concentrating on the optional monthly levy of its interests on the private account of individuals or institutions, from 10 or more diners.
The association said that the donor can stop making his donation when he wishes, according to a press release published on his website. Donors can take this withdrawal either from a paper form withdrawn from the association’s headquarters or through the electronic link on its website https://sosve.mcdev-host.pro/inscription/ or via the SOS VE Android application available On Google Play, in addition to the possibility of donating by personal phone or bank account to the association or to the four villages (Gammarth, Siliana, Mahres, Akouda).
The association has revealed that the number of beneficiaries of children without support, young people from households integrated into the company and beneficiaries of the family support and negligence prevention program has been multiplied by five in the past five years, bringing their number currently to around 5,000 beneficiaries. Donations and financial support of the community represent between 80 and 90 percent of the annual budget of the Tunisian Children’s Villages Association (SOS).
