The General Federation of Secondary Education called for “the suspension of classes in all middle and high schools in all regions tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, as a sign of mourning for the lives of the students who died at El Mazzouna High School, and in demonstration against the denial of authority and its inability to find real and serious solutions to save public education.”
In a statement issued this afternoon, the federation held “the Ministry of Education and the current government responsible for this tragedy due to the abandonment of the reform of public school infrastructure and the absence of a national plan to allocate the required material resources to save the public educational institution.
