Well-informed sources have confirmed to Tunisie Numérique that the Sugar factory in Beja will resume its activity towards the start of next week.
Sugar production came to a halt noted more than a month ago, due to the breakdown of several machines and the lack of spare parts in view of the lack of liquidity.
Authorities have used imported sugar to cover the essentials of Tunisian consumers.
