The National Authority for the Fight against Corruption announced in its report published on Monday, September 14 that there was suspicion of financial and administrative corruption within the administration of Tunisair in Spain and Portugal.
Indeed, a Tunisair official would have concluded a contract with an advertising company, created by his wife a few days before the signing of the contract to provide advertising material worth 24 thousand euros while the authorized amount does not exceed 1/3 of this amount.
According to the same report, there are other overruns within the same directorate:
Continue to deal with an owner of a travel agency in Portugal, which has debts with Tunisair of 200 thousand euros, this same agency is the subject of legal proceedings by other companies.
Continue to work with the owner of a travel agency that has declared bankruptcy in Portugal and who now works with a travel agency where he owns shares in Spain
Purchase of advertising gifts worth 24 thousand euros without obtaining the agreement of the central services concerned.
Personally carry out the stages of the purchase of advertising gifts through direct consultation and authorize the payment of an advance representing 75% of the amount without follow-up of the order.
Non payment of a debt of 171 thousand euros, to a tour operator
